Part of our original plan for the studio was to have a light kit to enable us to photograph our work as we make it. Documenting the work is an important part of an artist’s career development - and cellphone pics just don’t cut it!
We’ve just received a professional light kit that enables us to light the work properly. There are certain specifications that ensure a proper image, including using a tripod and understanding how a good camera really works. All things combined, we’ve got the set up needed to professionally document and represent our work.
Stay tuned for updated images on our website of tons of works, old and new. We’ve still got some editing to do before we can really share the images and that takes a little time.
As a fellow artist, how do you document your work? Are you using videos to show your process? We’d love to have your comments.
